Anal glands are found in dogs and cats. They are not very important to the animal nowadays. They used to be used for scent marking out in the wild, so it would help protect their domain, warn off other dogs, that kind of thing. Nowadays, dogs are mostly owned, so they do not need them for that purpose. But they do cause quite a lot of problems, especially in dogs.
Dog Aid are an unique charity that train your pet to be a registered assistance dog. In this film is looks at the great work they offer and two case studies on how assistance dogs change peoples lives.
The ProTrainings Canine First Aid qualification is also available with an Endorsed Certificate from TQUK, for an extra charge if required. Endorsed certificates are not something that everyone will want but it does give an extra level of certificate if requested.
Our next Pet First Aid Instructor course is on Thursday 3rd March. The course covers all that is required to deliver the ProTrainings Pet Fist Aid classroom courses including dog care, cat care, canine first aid and the new advances pet first aid when we launch it. You will have to complete some pre-study material before the course.
The microchip will have an expiry date on the packaging but this is just for implantation purposes and not an expiry date for the function of reunification. The microchip will not act as a GPS tracker and will need to be scanned by a hand held scanner.
